Very worn button or ornamental fitting. It is circular and made from cast cu-alloy, displaying the setting for a semi-precious stone or glass centre-piece in the centre of the circle. Between and centre piece are moulded circles and dots, framing the green glass stone in the middle. Both the setting and the stone are chipped and very worn, probably not vouching for an old age but rather cheap-ish make. It is not clear if there was an attachment loop on the reverse; there is a moulded dot in the centre of the reverse, or possibly solder residue which could have attached a loop, wire or…

Small ring made from plaited silver wire. Hand-made. Rings of this type have been examined at the British Museum, where the opinion was tentatively given that they may be 19th century cane ferrules. However, possible parallels include Viking dome-shaped mounts formed of interwoven silver wire, and a ring from the 'scourge' in the ninth-century Trewhiddle hoard.

Small trade weight of cast copper alloy. Depicts inscription WIV (William 4th) beneath a crown with a possible provincial mark WK beneath. The W may indicate 'Wiltshire' but it is unclear what the K represents. William 4th reigned from 1830-1837 therefore the weight was cast in this period and follows the introduction of the 1826 'Imperial Standards' act (Bailey 2000 page 43).
