Unidentified decorated object. The object has a rounded triangular head which is decorated, possibly depicting a skull. The back of this portion has two small circular depressions which could have been used in the mountint of the object. Below this, the object projects downwards from the bottom of the triangle and then forward at 90 degrees. The section projecting forward seems to have been snapped, but the patina suggests this is not a new break. The object is symmetrical, decorated on either side of the forward projection with a series of concentric circles.

A cast copper alloy pot leg resembling Butler, Green and Payne type 4a, probably from a cooking vessel of medieval or early post-medieval dat (1250-1600). The leg is rougly trilobed, the central raised strip projecting 1mm above the main shaft. There may have been a more defined foot but corrosion has reduced the relief elements significantly. A complete cast copper alloy leg, possibly from medieval or post-medieval cooking pot or cauldron. The leg has two moulded furrows running vertically down the front face. The reverse of the object is flat, and where the object may have joined on to the main vessel there is a third face which is concave to fit the face of the vessel. Cast coppor alloy vessels became popular from c. AD1100, and gradually passed out of use between 1700 and 1850, superseded by cast-iron pots and by saucepans designed for use on kitchen ranges.

The outer frame is decorated with five moulded ridges at each end in a scallop-shell design. The head is leaf-shaped and the socket has a pronounced midrib. The mid rib is lozenge shape and extends to the base of the socket where it is slightly facetted rather than raised. The weight is part of a larger group of trade/stacking weights, having a wide and relatively thick raised edge on the upper face. The front and rear faces both have turned circles around a central point on the obverse and a raised boss on the reverse; all of these concentric circles are regular and well formed. The upper face is marked irregularly with a central crowned bust which is surrounded by three roses and a worn rectangular stamp.

The object has a central circular perforation with an internal diameter of 8.82mm. Possible linear decoration can be seen on one face of the object however it is too worn to be certain. The object has a mid-brown patina and is worn. Similar examples of spindle whorls have been found in contexts dating from the Roman through to the Post-Medieval period, however the most are dated to the Medieval period.

A cast lead alloy musket ball or pistol shot dating from the Post-Medieval period, (1500-1800). The object is spherical. The surface of the object is uneven and pitted with a large indent where the projectile has struck an obstacle. The object has a light brown patina and is in fair condition.

A cast copper alloy mount dating from the Medieval to the Post-Medieval period. The object consists of a flat copper alloy strip with a rounded terminal at each end. In front of the rear strip is another strip which projects outwards creating a triangular shape in profile. Each strip is rectangular in cross-section. At one end of the object the terminal is in the form of a stylised fleur-de-lis, perforated by a circular rivet hole. The opposite terminal is incomplete. A flint scraper dating to the Neolithic period, (3500-2100BC). The object is sub-oval in plan and D-shaped in cross-section. Ripples and facets can be seen on the dorsal (upper) face. The ventral (lower) face is smooth with visible ripples. There is no visible retouch. The implement is made from a light sandy brown flint.

A cast copper alloy bead of possibly dating to the late Iron Age. The object is asymmetric, and circular in plan. The bead is sub-oval in cross-section and thickens at the base which measures 7.90mm in thickness. The top of the object measures 3.40mm in thickness. At the top of the object is a circular perforation with an internal diameter of 5.30mm. The object is solid and has a casting line around its circumference. Large lump of copper alloy waste, date unknown. It is sub-oval in plan with an uneven pitted surface. The surface contains two circular objects which appear to be copper alloy coins. These were possibly melted down along with other copper alloy objects to form the waste. It is also possible that the waste is from creating copper alloy coins and that they fused during that process to the overflow. Silver shilling from South Africa. Minted in Pretoria it is a Transvaal and Orange Free State Shilling from 1895. It has been cut out from the reverse design which is a man smoking a pipe and wearing a top hat. It was probably used as a pendant as there is the remains of an attachment.

Curving bow, D-shaped in section with flat front decorated with three strips infilled with enamel. Each strip appears to have originally been of three sections of alternating coloured enamel, of which only the some of orange enamel remains. Circular boss at the junction of the bow and the leg.
