Silver shilling from South Africa. Minted in Pretoria it is a Transvaal and Orange Free State Shilling from 1895.
It has been cut out from the reverse design which is a man smoking a pipe and wearing a top hat. It was probably used as a pendant as there is the remains of an attachment.
