The general shape of the item is a 'T' shape. The horizontal bar is circular in section and has rounded terminals which have a slightly flared 'base'. Towards the centre of the bar on either side the bar narrows and again expands towards the centre. Protruding from the centre of the bar is a vertical bar. Where the vertical and horizontal bars meet there appears to be a narrow groove either side of the vertical bar, suggesting that the vertical bar is hinged onto the horizontal bar.
