A complete lead or lead alloy weight dating from the Roman to Post Medieval period, (AD 43 - AD 1800). The object is a cylindrical standing weight. It is rectangular in plan and circular in section and is undecorated. Both the upper and lower surfaces have a single, central, circular indentation however the object is not perforated.
The metal is light brown in colour

A cast lead-alloy weight of Post-Medieval date, probably c. 1700-1800.
The weight is discoidal with a scene on the obverse. The scene depicts, in worn, low relief, a man riding backward on a donkey walking/running left. A second figure can be found on the donkey's back, facing forward, and possibly engaged in a sexual act with the man. The detail of the second figure is more obscured by wear.

The weight is wedge shaped, with a broad sub-rectangular base that narrows to a thin rectangular top. The underside of the base has a slightly convex rectangular impression.
The object weighs is approximately 2oz, or 1/8th of a pound.
