A complete lead hemp bale seal of the post-medieval period (AD1757).
The object is a bi-face sub-discoid seal with a single central slot through its centre for the attachment string. One face bears [S]PB SRHB 1757 in three lines. SPB indicates that the bale contained hemp and SRHB is probably the initials of the grower, owner or agent and the type of hemp. On the opposing face has some indication of lettering, but it is no longer legible. Other bale seals of this type have 'No.' and an Arabic numeral.

The dorsal surface has three predominant negative scars and short stepped flaking and semi-abrupt retouch along both the left and right hand edges. The proximal and distal ends have been abruptly blunted. The ventral surface is slightly convex and has a small bulb of percussion situated at the distal end. The flake retains no cortex and is therefore a tertiary flake.

A complete lead shot ball of Post-Medieval date (AD 1640-1750). The object has a circumferentially running casting seam and a projecting casting spru. Around the casting spru is a large amount of iron corrosion and possibly a slightly projecting ferrous metal spike which passes centrally through the object. This object is probably part of an iron-stemmed dumb-bell shot, a modified form of ammunition for a smooth bore muzzle loading weapon. The weight of the shot suggests that it was meant to be fired from a pistol.

An incomplete copper alloy heraldic horse harness pendant of Medieval date (AD 1250-1550). The pendant is shield shaped in profile with an integral, partially retained suspension loop projecting from the middle of the upper edge. The face of the object retains minor traces of red enamel and the heavily abraded heraldic decoration probably of three passant lions. The reverse is undecorated. The lower tapering end has a minor portion missing and the majority of the suspension loop is also missing due to old, abraded breaks.
The metal is a dark brown in colour.
