A cast iron sphere, probably a post-medieval cannon ball. There is an indentation on one side. This may be a result of impact, but could also be the result of uneven corrosion processes. It weighs 877.94 g and has a diameter of 62.34 mm. There are clear signs of corrosion on the surface of the shot, which means it is difficult to precisely assign a calibre, but the diameter would fit a falconet or minion. Similar shot in the database include OXON-DA7DB8, WILT-FB42A2 and SWYOR-5EE135.

A complete lead hemp bale seal of the post-medieval period (AD1757). The object is a bi-face sub-discoid seal with a single central slot through its centre for the attachment string. One face bears [S]PB SRHB 1757 in three lines. SPB indicates that the bale contained hemp and SRHB is probably the initials of the grower, owner or agent and the type of hemp. On the opposing face has some indication of lettering, but it is no longer legible. Other bale seals of this type have 'No.' and an Arabic numeral.
