A complete copper alloy token of Modern date (AD 1876). The object is a check token for the London and Newcastle Tea Company. These tokens would be given out with the purchase of tea from the company and could be collected in order to claim a "present" such as a mug or set of egg cups. A complete copper alloy nail of Modern date (AD 1700-1800). The nail has a large circular convex head, and a square sectioned shaft projecting centrally from the underside, which tapers to a point. The metal is green in colour with a pitted patina. Diameter (of Head): 23.04mm, Length: 43.82mm, Width (of Shaft): 6.01mm, Thickness (of Head): 5.55mm, Weight: 14.40g.

An incomplete copper alloy shoe buckle of Post-Medieval date (AD 1720-1790). The object is concave in section and ovate in plan. The frame is composed of two parallel ovate frames which join at eight points which gives the overall appearance of openwork decoration. The frame has an integral decoration of molded foliage at the points at which the two frame aspects meet. Between the foliage, on both frames, is a repeating pellet decoration. An incomplete copper alloy heraldic horse harness pendant of Medieval date (AD 1250-1550). The pendant is shield shaped in profile with an integral, partially retained suspension loop projecting from the middle of the upper edge. The face of the object retains minor traces of red enamel and the heavily abraded heraldic decoration probably of three passant lions. The reverse is undecorated. The lower tapering end has a minor portion missing and the majority of the suspension loop is also missing due to old, abraded breaks. The metal is a dark brown in colour. Similar examples…
