A complete copper alloy token of Modern date (AD 1876). The object is a check token for the London and Newcastle Tea Company. These tokens would be given out with the purchase of tea from the company and could be collected in order to claim a "present" such as a mug or set of egg cups.
Diameter: 21.52mm, Thickness: 1.44mm, Weight: 1.9g.

A complete lead token dating to the post medieval period, c. AD 1500 to 1850.
The object is circular in plan and flat with a diameter of 24.86 mm. On one side of the object is a raised motif in the shape of an anchor. On the reverse of the object is a sexfoil motif which is again raised. Lead tokens had a wide variety of potential uses such as tallies, gaming pieces, tickets, weights, etc. and are believed to have been locally produced; they are therefore difficult to date precisely.
