An incomplete copper alloy heraldic horse harness pendant of Medieval date (AD 1250-1550). The pendant is shield shaped in profile with an integral, partially retained suspension loop projecting from the middle of the upper edge. The face of the object retains minor traces of red enamel and the heavily abraded heraldic decoration probably of three passant lions. The reverse is undecorated. The lower tapering end has a minor portion missing and the majority of the suspension loop is also missing due to old, abraded breaks. The metal is a dark brown in colour. Similar examples…

A medieval gold finger-ring, with a four-cusped setting containing a transparent imitation 'gemstone'. The hoop is stirrup-shaped and the shoulders are each engraved with panels of foliate decoration. The hoop is slender and slightly bent. The ring probably dates to the 14th or 15th century. Analysis at the British Museum has shown that it is made of gold, and that the 'gemstone' is probably made of glass. The ring weighs 2.7grams, and the diameter is 21mm.

A cast lead weight of the late Medieval or Post-Medieval period. The weight is trapezoidal in profile, with 7 facetted faces from base to top. The top has a solid glob of lead that appears to be an incomplete suspension loop. The glob has a narrow rectangular perforation through it, but there is little space for a hook or another form of suspension. The body of the weight also has circular holes drilled into it. The base is rather elaborate, with 7 drop-shaped wedges radiating from the centre.

A lead spindle whorl of medieval or post medieval date. The spindle whorl is flat circular and possesses a central circular perforation. The upper surface of the whorl has moulded decoration comprising four lines forming a cross and dividing the whorl into quarters. In each quarter, there is a small circular moulding. The whol measures 22mm in diameter and has a thickness of 3mm.

A crude copper alloy figurine of Christ, presumably originally attached to a wooden crucifix. It is difficult to date the figurine but it is possible that it is medieval in date. The figurine is cast; the torso is long and almost rectangular in section; the sides of the torso are horizontally grooved, perhaps to represent ribs; at the base of the torso, there is a rectangular moulding representing a loin cloth; this is diagonally grooved. A copper alloy finger ring, dating to the later medieval period. The hoop is rectangular in section and is decorated with diagonal ribs and incised decoration. There is a small circular bezel set with a small, circular turquoise glass gem. The gem has a convex upper surface. The hoop has a diameter of 18.47mm and a width of 2.96mm.
