A copper alloy openwork mount with loop, dating to the post-medieval period. It is flat, openwork and lozengiform in shape. A circular loop extends from the apex. The centre of the object is decorated with a lozengiform moulding. On the underside, the central moulding is hollow and there appear to be four attachment lugs, one at each corner of the object. It has a length of 55mm, a width of 39mm and a thickness of 5mm. The style of the object dates it approximately to the 17th century, and the integral attachment lugs on the reverse support this date.
