The other face has a pellet or annulet at the centre and four arms forming a cross. There is an indistinct mark in each quarter. It may represent mill sails. A copper alloy Late Medieval to Post Medieval scbbard chape dating from about AD 1400 - 1600. It is a Ward Perkins' Class III dagger chape. Only the front plate survives and it is not complete. The base is U shaped and is decorated with radiating moulded lines giving a shell like effect. A small knop projects from the apex of the U. There is a casting flaw leaving a hole in one side of the shell. There is a decorative inverted trefoil shaped hole in the top of the shell. A copper alloy English medieval jetton dating from the 13th or 14th century AD. It has a central dimple mark and a reverse similar to Mernick series 4j with a series of pellets around the circumference and a rose with eight loops in the centre representing a rose. The obverse is unreadable although may have a series of pellets around the outside. The jetton has a dark green patina and is 20.5mm in diameter, 1.0mm thick and weighs 1.36g. The reverse is similar to that on SWYOR-91F4CE.

A cast lead unidentified object, of unknown date, AD 43 - 1900. It is more spherical than hemispherical; domed with a flat reverse. One side is also flattened, perhaps as post depositional damage. A incomplete Medieval cast Iron annular buckle with cast iron pin, probably dating to AD 1200-1450 or later. The frame is circular in plan, and oval in cross-section, with no constriction for the pin. The frame is undecorated. The pin, which is broken off at about two thirds of its length, is also made of iron that is circular in cross section and then divides into an expanded circular loop which wraps around the frame of the buckle. A lead cloth seal or other seal dating from the post medieval period, about AD 1500 - 1800. It is a two disc seal with a fluted connecting tab. An integral rivet from the back of one disc passes through a hole in the other and is flattened. The rivet disc is marked with a large plain letter C (or perhaps a crescent). The reverse has a concavity in the centre where the lead has contracted while cooling. There are no obvious marks. The mass does not fit into any standard systems of weight meaurement. A silver Post Medieval coin; a halfgroat of Elizabeth I (AD 1558-1603) and dating from AD 1589-1592. Third coinage, Hand initial mark. See North (1975) Vol.2 page 113 number 2016. The coin has previously been folded across the flan between two o'clock and eight  o'clock on the obverse side, but is now straightened leaving a crease across the flan. An incomplete iron artefact, of Roman date, AD 41 - 410. It is sub-rectangular in plan, square at one end and tapering and curving to a rounded point at the other. The main body of the artefact is thicker along one edge than the other and the rounded point, which is set at a slight angle to the orientation of the main portion, is also thinner than the main body.
