Post Medieval to Modern silver mount in the shape of a six petal flower. The end of the attachment spike or rivet forms a raised pellet in the flower centre on the stud’s outer face. Alternate petals have the same incised pattern, some with a seemingly ‘crimped’ outer edge. The attachment rivet has a series of upward facing ribs. Similar ribs are still used today in upholstering. Dates from c1750 to c1940 AD. Diameter 11mm, thickness 8mm, weight 0.75g.

Early Medieval copper alloy probable mount or possible button. It is square in plan, and 'T' shaped in section and profile. The inner face is undecorated with a roughly central projecting shank. The tip of the shank may be lost and could once have had a perforation. The outer face is decorated with a single central square flanked on each corner with L-shaped cells. This decorative motif can be closely paralleled in Wales with two examples of lead alloy weights with copper alloy insets from Anglesey, one of which was found on the Early Medieval enclosed settlement near Llanbedrg…

A Medieval 1300 to 1400 AD copper-alloy conical seal matrix. The die of the matrix is circular with a tapering hexagonally faceted handle extending from the reverse. The handle terminates in a lozenge-shaped terminal with central perforation which would have served as a suspension loop. The seal shows a crude representation of the head of St. John the Baptist on a platter. There is no legend. The death of St John the Baptist is a common subject on seal matrices. Similar toDENO-DC076F on the database. The length is 20mm, the width is 21mm and the weight 7g.
