A piece of flint which is probably not worked and natural. The flint is very broadly speaking arrowhead shaped, but this is most likely to be a result of natural processes rather than human intervention. The flint does not show clear evidence for deliberate retouch on any of its edges, and the uneven patina on parts of the flint suggests that damage to the some areas occurred more recently than others. A wheel-thrown base (and side) sherd of probable Mancetter-Hartshill mortaria (54mm x 56mm with a thickness of 11.5mm at the edge of the base; weight: 45.79g). The sherd has a fine-textured and powdery fabric with an off-white core and inclusions of fine quartz and occasional red-brown and white particles grit. The grit seems to be fairly worn which may indicate that the vessel was used to a fair extent. An incomplete enamelled copper alloy headstud brooch variant, of Roman dating (AD 75 to AD 200). Around 75% of the brooch remains, the spring, pin and part of the catch plate are missing, along with some of the decorative elements, presumed lost in antiquity. Three complete and two incomplete turquoise cylindrical glass beads, probably dating to the Roman period (diameter of complete beads ranging from 8mm - 12mm; thickness ranging from 6mm - 9mm; collective weight: 3.69g). Two ceramic wheel-thrown rim sherds, dating to the Roman period, probably from the 2nd-4th century AD (thickness ranging from 9.9mm - 10.2mm; collective weight: 22.26g). On the dark brown/ beige sherd, the hard-fired fabric has a gritty surface with frequent small inclusions as well as a small area of original burnishing on the outside. The other sherd has an off-white outer surface with a light grey/ blue fill. This sherd has not been fired as extensively as the other, but it also has a gritty fabric with frequent small inclusions.

The fragment of glass is a complete rim of a narrow necked and rim vessel. The rim has a horizontal face which, from the lower face, a narrowed neck protrudes. The rim is sub-circular in plan. The neck is vertical and appears to curved outwards, but the edge is broken. The neck is incomplete and recently broken. The glass is a blue/green opaque colour. Elongated air bubbles are visible within the glass.
