A knapped flint barbed and tanged arrowhead dating from the late Neolithic to the Middle Bronze Age. Mass: 1.2g. Length: 22mm; extant width: 18mm. Thickness: 4mm. The off-white/grey flint arrowhead is sub-triangular in plan, with two notches in the basal area either side of a central tang, forming a barb to one side, but the second barb is missing. The arrowhead has invasive retouch on the dorsal face. The flatter ventral face only has retouch on the tip and the barb and notches in the basal area. Knapped flint barbed and tange arrowhead. Probably Late Neolithic to the Middle Bronze Age. Mass: 1.5g. Length: 26mm; extant width: 17mm. Thickness: 4mm. Grey patinated flint. Made on a re-used flake, as the surface is not patinated around the edges where it has been retouched. The tanged arrowhead appears to have lost some material from its tip, and also at the ends of the wings - and so the original form is unclear.

A complete microlith dating to the Mesolithic period (c. 9000 B.C. – c. 4000 B.C.). Manufactured on a tertiary bladelet of white patinated flint. The complete left hand edge of the dorsal face has abrupt, parallel retouch which continues around the obliquely truncated proximal end. Overall dimensions: 17mm in length, 4.7mm in width, 2.5mm in thickness.

A prehistoric flint scraper of probable late Neolithic or early Bronze Age date, dating from circa 3000 BC to circa 1500 BC. The scraper has been made on a long flake and has been retouched from the dorsal side using pressure flaking. This retouch occurs on both edges and at the distal end. A ridge runs down the centre of the dorsal face, making the flint sub-triangular in section. It measures 43.95 mm long, 22.24 mm wide, 9.07 mm thick and weighs 10.3 grams. The flint is a dark to pale grey in colour.

A flint waste flake of prehistoric date, probably Neolithic or Bronze Age, and dating from circa 4500 BC - 1000 BC. The flake is cortical in small areas at the butt and the tip of the distal end, and it has no obvious shape for a tool. However, what appears to be deliberately fine retouch at the distal end may have enabled the flake to be used as a knife and this is a distinct possibility. It measures 50.06 mm long, 20.62 mm wide, 5.15 mm thick and weighs 6 grams. The flint is pale to dark grey in colour with small areas of cream cortex.

A prehistoric flint broken blade of probable Mesolithic or Neolithic date. The flint is brown in colour with an area of cortex on the left side, just before the break. The bulb of percussion and striking platform are clearly visible on the ventral face at the proximal end of the flint. There is fine retouch, predominantly applied from the ventral face on the right edge of the flint. The fairly even patina of the flint suggests that the break is ancient rather than recent. The flint may have been used as a cutting blade. It probably ranges in date from 8300 to circa 3000 BC.

A post-medieval to modern gunflint from a flint lock rifle dating to the 16th - 19th centuries. The gunflint is sub-square in plan and appears complete. The flint has been knapped around the edges in order to get the correct shape. The distal edge is thinner (2.6 mm) thickening to 10.21 mm before tapering off again. All of the edges are relatively straight. The flint used is a dark grey in colour.

A prehistoric, probably Neolithic, flint tool formed from a flake. There is retouch along both lateral edges and a notch has been taken out of the cortical distal end. This may have been a composite tool, with the left lateral edge appropriate for use as a cutting blade, and the blunter retouch on the right lateral edge, confined to the area around the distal end, used as a scraper. The retouch at the distal end may have functioned as a scoop, scraper or gauge. The flint is dark grey in colour and partly cortical.
