An incomplete glass counter or gaming piece of probable Roman to Early Medieval date (c. AD 200-800) The counter is an oval shape in plan, and domed in profile. The body of the counter is made from a dark blue to black glass, which has an applied border of white glass. Within the border, at intervals, there are small blobs of applied white glass as decoration. The base of the counter has an irregular spiral, as if formed during manufacture of the counter. A degraded shard of glass from a glass vessel of probable late medieval or post-medieval date. The shard is from the body of the vessel, and it it is not large enough to determine the form of the vessel from which it came. It measures 77.9 mm long, 38.3 mm wide, 5.34 mm thick and weighs 20.6 grams.

A small fragment of pale blue/turquoise glass, probably from a glass vessel. As the piece is very small it is difficult to determine the form of the vessel from which it came, making dating problematic. However, the colour of the glass may suggest a late post-medieval to modern date.

A complete sub-cylindrical decorated polychrome glass bead, with flattened ends (diameter: 9.1mm; thickness: 7.7mm; weight: 0.87g), dating to the Early Medieval period, probably 6th-8th century AD. The dark blue/black bead seems to have been splashed with a range of colours after the initial monochrome bead was made, including yellow, red, grey/blue and off-white. These colours have been applied irregularly and in no distinctive pattern. Three complete and two incomplete turquoise cylindrical glass beads, probably dating to the Roman period (diameter of complete beads ranging from 8mm - 12mm; thickness ranging from 6mm - 9mm; collective weight: 3.69g). The slightly off-centre holes in the centre of the beads ranges from 2.4mm - 3mm. The fragment of glass is a complete rim of a narrow necked and rim vessel. The rim has a horizontal face which, from the lower face, a narrowed neck protrudes. The rim is sub-circular in plan. The neck is vertical and appears to curved outwards, but the edge is broken. The neck is incomplete and recently broken. The glass is a blue/green opaque colour. Elongated air bubbles are visible within the glass.
