The fragment of glass is a complete rim of a narrow necked and rim vessel. The rim has a horizontal face which, from the lower face, a narrowed neck protrudes. The rim is sub-circular in plan. The neck is vertical and appears to curved outwards, but the edge is broken. The neck is incomplete and recently broken. The glass is a blue/green opaque colour. Elongated air bubbles are visible within the glass.

An incomplete glass counter or gaming piece of probable Roman to Early Medieval date (c. AD 200-800) The counter is an oval shape in plan, and domed in profile. The body of the counter is made from a dark blue to black glass, which has an applied border of white glass. Within the border, at intervals, there are small blobs of applied white glass as decoration. The base of the counter has an irregular spiral, as if formed during manufacture of the counter. A complete sub-cylindrical decorated polychrome glass bead, with flattened ends (diameter: 9.1mm; thickness: 7.7mm; weight: 0.87g), dating to the Early Medieval period, probably 6th-8th century AD. The dark blue/black bead seems to have been splashed with a range of colours after the initial monochrome bead was made, including yellow, red, grey/blue and off-white. These colours have been applied irregularly and in no distinctive pattern.
