Roman copper alloy brooch. An incomplete strip bow brooch. The incomplete wings were folded back to house the axis bar for a separate hinged pin (both missing) the left wing is broken. There is a large notch between the wings to allow the pin to be articulated. The flat strip bow tapers from the head and is decorated with a longitudinal ridge at each edge flanking a blank central area. The foot is missing. The back is undecorated. Date: Roman, 1st to 2nd century

A cast copper alloy buckle of late medieval date. The incomplete oval double frame buckle measures 15.7mm by 20.7mm by 4.2mm and weighs 3.6g. The majority of one loop is missing. The outside edge is decorated with a panel of incised transverse parallel lines. At each end of the narrowed strap bar there is an external knop, both of which are also decorated with incised parallel lines. The pin has been wrapped around the strap bar and tapers to a pin. It has a moulded transverse line on the external face, adjacent to the loop.

A cast lead button of probable seventeenth century date. The slightly convex circular button measures 19.4mm in diameter by 5.3mm thick and weighs 3.7g. The front is decorated with a central circular moulded knop, surrounded by radiating slightly curved lines. In the centre of the reverse is the stub of the integral shank. The edge is damaged in places.

A cast lead alloy finger ring of probable late medieval date. The hoop measures 23.3mm in diameter, 3.5mm in width and 2mm in thickness. The damaged rectangular bezel measures 13mm by 8.6mm and the ring weighs 4.2g. The hoop has a D-shaped cross-section, with an external curve. It widens slightly to meet with the bezel which is flanked by a transverse line on each side and is decorated with an incised saltire cross. A number of finger rings with this general form can be seen in part 1 of the 'Salisbury Museum Catalogue' (Saunders 1991, p. 46, fig. 12, nos. 17, 18 and 19).

A probable gilded cast copper alloy horse harness pendant of medieval date. The curvilinear pendant measures 25.6mm by 8.9mm by 2.5mm and weighs 3.6g. At the apex is a loop which has been turned through ninety degrees. The pendant has a convex front and a concave back. On the front there are traces of gilding. A pendant with a broadly similar form from Norton Bavant, Wiltshire, has been recorded on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database (WILT-674E02).

A cast copper alloy hooked mount. The mount comprises an oval plate with an integral hook at one end. The plate is undecorated, convex at the front and concave at the back. There are two attachment holes set on the longitudinal axis, both of which contain the corroded remnants of iron rivets or pins. Above the hook is a transverse raised bar. The hook is D-sectioned and tapers as it curves towards the back of the plate. It curves upwards and terminates at the level of the transverse bar. A fragment of a cast copper alloy spoon stem or vessel handle. A short section of the stem or handle only remains. It is slightly tapering and has a flattened D-section. There are breaks at both ends. The flat, front face is decorated with incised lines two sets of two transverse lines flanking a saltire cross and a small nothch at the edge of the object in the side quarters of the cross.
