An incomplete post medieval copper alloy spherical crotal or rumbler bell, dating to c. AD 1600-1800. Approximately 50% of the lower hemisphere of the bell is now missing, sheared off from just beneath the sound holes, one of which would have been circular while the other appears lozenge shaped. There is a distinctly thickened rib at the equator of the bell, dividing the two hemispheres. Roman copper alloy Hod Hill brooch probably of Hull type 62 or possibly 70C. It is in poor condition, with the hinged pin missing, broken head and damaged bow and catch-plate. There is a tiny patch of white metal coating remaining. The head is broken to one side of the slot for the hinge and the folded over section to hold the hinge is missing. An incomplete Early Bronze Age copper alloy cast flat axehead, dating from c.2150 to 1500 BC. The blade is curved and it has a very uneven edge, probably due to surface wear and corrosion. The axehead tapers to a break before the butt. There are some traces of Bronze disease on the surface of the item.

A postmedieval cast copper alloy sword belt hook. The plate is flat and ovoid; on the front it has engraved and punched decoration, the original design is now worn, but it is possible to see punched circlets on the surface. The back of the sword belt hook is plain. At one end of the object, the hook has broken away and is missing; at the opposite end, the top of the attachment knop has broken away. The object dates to the 17th Century AD. A similar object can be seen on the database: FAKL-352D42.

An incomplete, medieval cast copper alloy annular brooch frame. The brooch is circular in plan; on the front, the frame undulates evenly (both laterally and vertically) to form nine raised slight 'knops'. The back of the brooch is flat. There is a constriction on the frame where the pin would have fitted. The pin is now missing. The brooch broadly dates between AD 1200- 1400.

An incomplete, medieval cast copper alloy annular buckle frame. The buckle is circular in plan. It is D-shaped in section; the surface is rounded at the front and flat at the back. There are two breaks opposite each other on the frame, where the central bar has broken away. The pin, which would have wrapped around the central bar, is also missing. The buckle broadly dates between circa AD 1200- 1400. Weight 9.4g, Length: 42.5 mm Width: 40 mm. Thickness c.3 mm.

An incomplete Post Medieval copper alloy crotal bell,with approximately 20 percent of the lower hemisphere missing. The bell is spherical in overall shape; at the top is a rectangular attachment hoop with a rectangular perforation. The lower hemisphere is decorated with a sunburst pattern and there is a linear opening, which is rounded at each end at the botttom. The upper hemisphere is undecorated and has two circular sound holes. A central raised ridge runs horizontally seperating the two hemispheres.

A Medieval copper alloy brooch. Notes: A copper alloy annular brooch possibly dating from the Medieval period, probably 1200 - 1400 AD. It is ovoid in shape with six raised circular settings on the front that would have at one point held decorative stones. Two still contain white paste. There is a hole in the frame for the pin, but it is now missing. It has a length of 25.03mm, width 20.93mm, thickness 2.42mm, weight 3.03g. A broadly similar example can be seen on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database: SWYOR-E5DA21.

A Post Medieval cast copper alloy button. The button is circular in plan with a diameter of 23mm. The front surface is slightly concave and undecorated. The back face is slightly convex and has an integral attachment loop at the centre. The loop is D-shaped in plan with a circular perforation at the centre. The style of the attachment loop suggests that it may be of 17th century date- see Bailey (2004) p 37, figure 8 for similar examples.

A Post Medieval copper alloy button, probably of 18th century date. The button is circular in plan and is highly decorated with traces of a silver colour which may be due to silvering or tinning the surface. The front is decorated with a sunburst pattern arranged around a central plain circle. A copper alloy fragment, possibly from the bow, foot and catchplate of a Roman brooch. The bow is broadly D-shaped in section and there are traces of decoration visible on the front in the form of small pellets running vertically in a row within two linear grooves. On the reverse, towards the end of the bow, the catchplate fans out and recurves slightly at the edge. The fragment is abraided and worn smooth.

A Roman copper alloy nummus of the House of Constantine, dating to AD 330-335 (Reece period 17). VRBS ROMA type, depciting a wolf and twins with two stars above. Mint of Trier. LRBC I, no. 65. The coin is struck on a notably eliptical flan, with the remains of a white metal coating only visible on the obverse and peirced at 3 o'clock. Such reuse could be either Roman or Early Medieval in date, in the absence of any finds from the latter period the former is suggested.

An incomplete Late Bronze Age socketed axehead, probably dating to c. 1150-750 BC. The fragment is extremely abraded, leaving no surface detail and at one point wearing completely through the wall, leaving an irregular perforation. The socket mouth and cutting edge have both been lost to wear, leaving the axe with a narrow sub-rectangular in plan, with a rounded blade-end and the wall of the socket lost entirely on one face.
