A fragment of a cast copper alloy object. lync Sub-oval, bulbous, hollowed object with a solid, flattened terminal. The object contstricts before flaring out into the sub-circular disc terminal. Around the widest part of the hollowed section there is a band of oval facets. The object is heavy for its size suggesting the alloy is leaded bronze. Possibly part of a lynch-pin. Possibly a miscast object. Possibly of iron age or Roman date. Dimensions: 26.07 mm x 14.63 mm x 15 mm Weight: 17.27 g

Cast copper alloy La Tène I brooch. A large one piece bow brooch. At the head is the spring of coiled wire and its external chord. This was drawn from the main body of the brooch. Below this the brooch expands into D-sectioned arching bow, dropping to a tapered foot with a hooked catchplate to the right side. Beyond this the foot continues into a backward hooked tail with a knopped "snake-head" terminal. There are cast decorative ridges on the tail before the expanded terminal. Late Iron Age or Roman penannular brooch. The pin is missing and the brooch is slightly bent out of shape. The circular sectioned wire brooch is undecorated apart from at the terminals. The terminals are expanded, with sub-oval flat ends, and with c. seven closely-spaced bands of faint incised lines behind. A damaged and incomplete Late Iron Age/Early Roman cast copper-alloy strip bow brooch. The brooch is broadly triangular in form. The head is the widest point (11.2mm) and features a central removal (pin slot) and slight protrusion on one side; it is broken on the other. Below this the brooch is 9.0mm wide and tapers gradually down the length of the brooch to less than 3mm at the catch-plate end. An incomplete copper alloy one-piece brooch. A La Tène III/Nauheim derivative type. The brooch is twisted and bent out of shape. At the head is the integral spring comprising two sets of two coils. The ones on the left side of the head are still in situ. Together with the chord, the right hand coils have been pulled over to the left and one coil unwound completely. A copper alloy ring. A probable harness ring (a link or strap distrubutor). The aperture of the ring is circular, but the outer edge of the band is squared. Each side is an oval and between them are semi-circular knops, one at veach corner. the band is broadly recatngular in cross section.There are signs of wear on the inner surface an some slight distortion. A cast copper alloy knobbed terret. A D shaped terret with a narrowed and off-set attachment bar. The bar has a rectangular cross section and is slightly bent. Flanking the bar are two disc shaped terminals, each with a partial girth groove. The terret is decorated with are three large integral knobs, one either side of the bar and one in the centre of the outer edge.
