A copper alloy English jetton. Probably issued under Edward II (1307 - 1327). Berry type 5 obverse depicting a lion passant facing left with four fleurs de lys around and a wavy line below the feet. Around this is an outer border of sexfoil rosettes alternating with small pellets. Below the line is a row of trefoils formed from pellets. On the reverse is a long cross moline with a single large pellet in each angle and a border of large pellets. Date: Medieval - c. 1307 - 1327 Diameter: 20.55 mm Weight: 1.08 g
