Two hand-made iron nails of unknown date, possibly dating to c AD 1200-1800.  1) Rectangular section shaft with sub-oval off-set head. The head is convex, possibly faceted and with a small piece of excess metal at the apex. It is uncertain how much of the detail of the head is affected by corrosion and being deformed while lost. The bowl of a post medieval clay smoking pipe dating to c AD1660 - 1680.The bowl has broken off at an early date at the junction with the stem but was at an angle of c45 degrees to the stem. The bowl is cream/white in colour and there is no decoration.  It tapers a little towards the mouth where the rim is missing to an early break.  At the foot is the spur, damaged when the stem broke away, but enough remaining to measure the diameter. An incomplete Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative brooch, only missing its hinged pin, dating to cAD50 - 150. It has long, elaborately decorated wings, their span almost matching the length of the whole brooch. A complete gilded copper alloy early medieval (early Anglo-Saxon) mount. It consists of a circular copper alloy plate (37mm in diameter) with a raised border around the outside of the outer face and raised chip-carved Style II zoomorphic interlace decoration in the centre with a central raised projection (4.95mm). Gilding still covers most of this decoration although some small patches are missing in places. To the reverse are the remnants of three iron projections. An incomplete Post Medieval copper alloy crotal bell, dating to c. AD 1500-1700. Part of the top of the suspension loop is missing due to an old break, with only the two lugs and part of the crossbar remaining. The upper and lower hemisphere of the bell is divided by a prominent rib. It has rather thin cylindrical wings, apparently made up from a sheet of metal which now no longer quite meets along the seam at the back of the head. A small bodysherd of a Medieval vessel dating to c. A complete, large iron medieval to post-medieval rotary key, dating to c. AD 1150-1650. The object resembles a Type 8 key (Saunders, 2012). The bow is kidney-shaped.
