The upper part of a cast copper alloy openwork plate brooch of composite geometric shape dating to AD 100 - 225. The brooch is flat and has a semi-circular upper part with a raised horizontal strip across the middle and two stubs, one longer than the other, of a further shape below the strip. An incomplete copper alloy developed T-shaped brooch. The brooch comprises the head, partial wings and bow, The head of the brooch retains one cylindrical wing, the right has broken off) decorated at the end with incised vertical lines. An incomplete copper alloy bow brooch of Aesica type. The pin and part of the wings are missing. The short open wings concealed the missing bar for the mechanism for the pin. The axis bar would have passed through a circular aperture in the rearward lug which projects from behind the middle of the wings. There are traces of iron corrosion product on this lug and the wings, indicating an iron axis bar.
