A  copper-alloy single looped rectangular buckle frame. The frame only remains, the pin is missing. The buckle frame is rectangular with three, flat, broad sides and the fourth largely taken up with a constriction for the attachment of the missing pin. The frame is flat and rectangular in cross section. The constriction is circular in cross section. 1 sherd of early medieval coarseware. The fabric is reduced and pale grey except for the oxidised exterior surface which is orangey-red. It contains abundant poorly sorted temper of rounded quartz sand, flint, chert and calcareous pieces (up to 5 mm). The inclusions are prominemt and protruce through the surface of the vessel. A cast copper alloy stirrup strap mount. Williams Class A, Type 9. The mount depicts a face with projecting chin and straight mouth. The eyes are pointed ovals.  Around the cheeks and arching across the eyes are interlacing ribbons which end in scrolls. This examples ribbons are very stylised in a celtic knot work pattern. This knot work appears to have been inset with a white metal and there are traces of an orange enamel. A complete gilded copper alloy early medieval (early Anglo-Saxon) mount. It consists of a circular copper alloy plate (37mm in diameter) with a raised border around the outside of the outer face and raised chip-carved Style II zoomorphic interlace decoration in the centre with a central raised projection (4.95mm). Gilding still covers most of this decoration although some small patches are missing in places. To the reverse are the remnants of three iron projections.
