An early-medieval silver penny of Coenwulf of Mercia (796 - 821), three-line Tribrach type struck by Eoba at the mint of Canterbury (Naismith C14.2; North 342) c.796 - 805. Ref: Naismith 2011: 50.
The coin is mostly complete, missing two parts of its outer edge but this does not affect the design or inscription.
