An abraded sherd of tile with curvature, possibly part of a Roman Imbrex by association with Roman pottery found nearby. The fabric is light orange-buff on the surfaces with a light orange core. Contains moderate inclusions of white and orange grog up to 4mm. The sherd measures 70.44mm x 43.72mm x 15.51mm thick and weighs 52.61g

One fragment of very worn and abraded encaustic floor tile. Orangey-red coarse fabric with a top layer of grey reduction. The fabric is folded and has many large stone inclusions (uo to 8 mm). Inlaid white clay decoration. All that can be seen on the fragment is a chevron or part of a lozenge frame and the trace of another decoration (possibly part of a fleur de lys?). The upper surface of the tile is very worn.

Two fragments of ceramic building material, probably from a box flue tile, of Roman date. The fragments are irregular in plan and sub-rectangular in section, broken and abraded on all sides. One fragment measures 86.7 mm in length, 98.5 mm in width, 15.4 mm in thickness and weighs 152.44 g. It includes part of a flange and has a combed pattern on the outer face. A fragment of ceramic building material, probably a roof tile, probably of Modern date, although the amount of Roman material in the area suggests an unusual Roman form cannot be ruled out. The fragment is irregular in plan and rectangular in section, broken and abraded on three sides with one complete, angled edge. It has a fine hard fired completely oxidised fabric. A fragment of floor tile tile. A coarse, sandy fabric with occasional larger quartzite stones (up to 6mm). The core of the fabric is a reduced mid grey and the margins are oxidised red. There are folds visible in the fabric from the rolling and kneading of the clay during manufacture. The surface of the tile is decorated with four incised curving concentric lines.
