A handle sherd from a Roman Amphora, possibly a Dressel type 20,which would date to circa AD 50 to AD 250. The handle is in the form of a shallow curve, has an oval cross section and heavily sanded fabric with red grog inclusions. Dimensions are: Length 86 mm, Diameter upper section 25.2 mm, Diameter lower section 23.1 mm, Weight 75 grams.
