An incomplete cast copper alloy whistle of post-medieval date. The whistle is sub T-shaped in plan with a hollow, circular section. One terminal is cast in the design of an exotic bird while the other has been lost to an old break. The object is possibly a hawking whistle. The metal has a mid reddish-brown patina and is worn. The whistle is 67.7mm long, 33.9mm wide, 9.2mm thick and weighs 30.9g. Similar whistles can be seen on the PAS database as Unique ID: KENT3333 and BUC-8600D2.

Copper alloy trade weight. Probably 15th to 16th century. A small, circular, uniface weight. There are two concentric incised lines at the edge. The obverse is stamped with a crown at one edge and a lis opposite at the other edge. These stamps are over the incised bands. There is small hollow at the centre of the weight and the whole surface is slightly concave. The reverse of the weight has clear file marks over the whole surface. Around this are numerous fine concentric lines from the manufacturing process. Punched within the rim at around 1 o'clock is the sword of St Paul (for the City of London). The terminal has a openwork interlace band around the edge and an ornate openwork panel on the opposing faces. The edge band is an interlace of two strands, decorated with an incised groove.
