Early to late Bronze Age multi tool fabricated from a mid/dark grey flint secondary waste flake with light grey inclusions. It has extensive retouch to the edges. The longer worked edge has been notched and produced a saw like edge. The other worked edge was probably a scraper and/or knife. Dates to between c2350 to c800 BC. Length 58mm, width 26mm, thickness 11mm, weight 15.2g.

A large, very coarsely worked denticulate scraper. Dark to mid grey patchy flint with greyish, mid gloss patina and some iron staining. Worked on a natural flake from a large nodule. The scraper is sub-angular in shape with a large area of stained coretex on the dorsal surface. Two of the four edges have been flaked from the ventral face, with large flakes removed leaving distinct points between them at the working edge. This implement is difficult to date, but it is most likely to be of Middle to late Bronze Age date (Peter Bellamy, pers. comm) Date: Probably Middle to Late Bronze Ag

A flint tool - probably a scraper, quite crudely made from a grey flint flake. There is a bulb of percussion and concoidal ripples on the dorsal side with further ripples on the ventral side which is slightly concave. The tool is roughly triangular in shape with the thickest side being almost entirely covered in cortex. The other two sides which taper to edges show evidence of re touching in the form of both flaking and micro flaking. At it's thickest side the flint is quite dark grey, but becomes much lighter towards the distal. There are some still lighter inclusions in places. …

A flint tool - probably a scraper, quite crudely made from a grey flint flake. There is a striking platform and bulb of percussion on the ventral side as well as a small area of cortex. There is evidence of flakes being removed to create a dorsal ridge, beginning at the proximal end, but finishing before the distal which still retains a layer of cortex. This has been removed only at the very edge of the distal end. Both side edges have been re worked, showing micro flaking, but the dorsal side either side of the dorsal ridge retain areas of cortex which has only been partially removed…

A flint tool - possibly part of a blade, possibly debitage, quite crudely made from a flint flake. There is a striking platform and bulb of percussion on the ventral side. Flakes have been removed to create a dorsal ridge which begin as a Y at the proximal end and join to form a single ridge towards the distal which appears to be a hinge fracture. Both edges show some evidence of minor re-working, with a small notch having been created on one side. The flint has a very 'chalky' appearance being almost white in colour across approximately half of its surface, but with a clearly defined…

Flakes have been removed to create a dorsal ridge which begin as a Y at the proximal end and join to form a single ridge towards the distal which has been snapped off apparently at a hinge fracture. A flint tool - possibly a scraper, quite crudely made from a greyish brown flint flake. There is a small bulb of percussion and a hint of concoidal ripples on the ventral side which is considerably convex and slightly twisted along its central axis. Flakes have been removed to create a dorsal ridge nearer to one side than the other. The side nearest to the ridge shows evidence of reworking all the way round to the distal end with several flakes removed as well as micro flaking. A flint tool, or possibly debitage, made from a brownish grey flake. There have been some small flakes removed to flatten a bulb of percussion on the ventral side. A single dorsal ridge has also been flattened by removal of flakes. There has been micro flaking along both edges and the distal end. At the proximal end, an angled 'tang' has apparently been deliberately left or created - possibly for setting into a shaft? Knapped flint end scraper made on a secondary flake. It is broadly oval in plan (rounded). There is a prominent bulb of percusison on the ventral face with bulb scars, and the flake has been removed from a prepared platform a section of which remains at the proximal end. It is triangular in section with an aris running down the centre of the dorsal face ending in a patch of cortex at the distal end covering c. 5% of the face. The scars on the dorsal face suggest previous parallel removals form the same platform. The retouch extends around the distal end and two thirds of the way do…

A thumbnail scraper of Late Neolithic ro Early Bronze Age date (Beaker period) c 2400 BC - 2200 BC. Made on a sub-oval tertiary flake of semi-translucent, mid-brown flint with a mid-gloss patina. The scraper is now completely covered in a smooth layer of off-white speckled recortification with a very dense area in the centre of the dorsal face. The dorsal face shows covering, scaled, abrupt retouch across the central area with very fine scaled retouch to all margins.
