A complete silver thimble. The thimble was probably originally circular in cross-section, tapering towards the domed top though has now been compressed into an ovate section. A thick double banded circumferential border is present around the base of the thimble from which it is decorated with regular square pits in concentric rings to the edge of the crown. The pits on the crown itself are grid-like is orientation. Roman worn (possibly contemporary plated copy of a) Siliqua of Julian, VOT/X/MVLT/XX, prototype of Arles, 361-3. An incomplete bent copper alloy strip bow brooch of Late Iron Age to Roman date (c. AD 25 - 75). The pin and one of the wings is missing. The brooch has been bent, its maximum length is 28.95mm in length, 12.6mm wide, and weighs 2.26 grams. The head is divided into two rolled wings divided by a central pin slot. A copper-alloy enamelled Roman umbonate brooch with sprung pin. The brooch is incomplete although the pin has become detached and the lug appears to be a riveted replacement. The brooch is domed to the front circled by a wide, deep channel. At the centre is a drilled circular recess. From this recess radiate two circular bands of triangular recesses, the majority are filled with red enamel. A copper alloy medieval double loop rectangular buckle, dating to c AD1350 - 1500. This has a rectangular suspension loop below and in line with the buckle loops, probably acting as a hanger for a sword harness. An incomplete Roman copper alloy Developed T-shaped brooch (South Western type), probably dating to c. AD 100-200. The surviving section comprises the head and upper bow. At the head cylindrical wings survive complete, retaining a copper alloy axis bar and the triangular perforated lug of the hinged pin in situ. A complete post-medieval silver gilded finger-ring, dating to the period AD 1500-1550. It measures 23.21mm in diameter, 7.12mm in thickness and weighs 6.66g. The decoration is framed by two ridged rims, one either side, which run the entirety of the finger-ring. In between are triangular sections of raised dots, approximately 21 in each section. An incomplete cast copper alloy Iron Age brooch of La Tene I type dating to 4th - 3rd c BC. It is missing some of the pin but is otherwise complete. The head, which is a a simple cylindrical piece at right angles to the bow has six coils wrapped around it. On one side, two coils are extensions of the bow and thus hold the bow to the head.
