A silver Medieval halfpenny possibly of Edward III (1327-77), Third 'Florin' Coinage (1344-51), Withers' Type 6, mint: London. Ref: Withers and Withers 2002: 25.
The coin was poorly struck off-centre resulting in parts of the original die not being struck onto the flan, and parts that were are shallow and indistinct. The flan is chipped in places.
