Fragment of rim from a copper alloy vessel. This is probably a rim from a cauldron or similar vessel. The rim is pointed and has an external bead. The vessel wall is thinned from the rim.The interior surface appaers smoothed whilst the exterior is rough and un-polished. There is clear evidence of mending of this vessel in the form of two rivet holes (one whole, with partial rivet and one incomplete). Fragment from a copper alloy vessel. This is a large vessel leg probably from a cauldron. The fragment consists of the foot and part of the leg, which is has an irregular break at the top. The leg is tri-lobate in section with a rounded, prominent ridge running up the centre of the front of the leg. The back of the leg is flat. The foot projects forwards from the leg and has a triangular profile. The base of the foot apears mis-cast and is slightly hollowed and rough.The surface of the leg is quite pitted and bumpy. A probably medieval lead mend for a pottery vessel. An irregularly shaped piece lead with one large plate and one smaller. The larger plate is sub-triangular with a smoothed surface and a slightly chamfered edge around it (5.55 mm thick). The smaller plate is much thinner (1.87 mm thick) and also roughly triangular. It has a more uneven surface. At one side the plates appear to be joined and there are also two thin bars of lead joining the together at another. A rim sherd of a New Forest ware colour coated beaker with beading above an incised grove. The beading has slight abrasion. The body is thin and is well made with slight sand temper. It becomes thinner further from the rim and was probably reduction fired leaving a grey/buff core. The vessel is colour coated with a purple slip. Date: Roman - c 260 - 370 The fragment weighs 7.33g. A similar sherd is described in HAMP-4E3C31. The shape of the sherd corresponds to those illustrated in "Roman Pottery in Britain" by Paul Tyers 1996 edition, page 172.

A copper alloy pot leg dating to c.1400-1450. The object comprises a semi-cylindrical leg or foot with the curved vessel base at one end and a flat end on which the foot would have rested. Running down the outside of the leg are five moulded vertical ridges with deep grooves between them.
