A Post-Medieval copper alloy pot leg, of Butler, Green and Payne's type C, probably dating to c. AD 1500-1700. The leg is sub-rectangular in plan and plano-convex in cross-section, with a prominent transverse collar dividing the foot and leg, with the latter lost to an old break. The inside edge is flat and plain, whilst the foot has five prominent longitudinal ridges down its front. Dimensions: length 46.7mm; width 26.1mm; thickness 18.0mm; weight 68.01g. Butler, Green & Payne (2009) classify such legs as their type C, in use by the 16th century and ubiquitous by the 17th.

A fragment of a Roman Samian ware vessel, probably a drinking cup, dating to the period c AD 43- 260 It appears to be a small part of the rim of a light vessel such as a drinking cup. The sherd is decorated with a radial line on the inside of the wall of the vessel, just below the outward curl of the rim. The height of the extant item is c 18.95mm and the length of the rim is c 22.22mm. The thickness of the fragment is c 3.90mm and it weighs 1.89g.

A rim sherd of Roman gritty coarseware, dating to the period c.AD 43-410. The fabric is sandy and light brown-cream in colour, aside from the outer surface, which is orange. Poorly sorted abundant angular white and grey flint inclusions are exposed on the surface. The breaks are worn. The sherd measures 46.32mm in length, 36.08mm in width, 10mm in thicjness at the body and 23.65mm in thickness at the rim. It weighs 26.50g. The sherd is broadly rectangular in plan, with a dark grey exterior surface and margin, and a mid-grey core, inner margin and inner surface. The base sherd has light orange margins and surfaces and a mid grey core. It has a fine, sandy texture and sparse poorly sorted red inclusions. A body sherd of Roman Gaulish Samian Ware, dating to the period c.AD 40-200. The fragment is from a form Dragendorff no.37 decorated bowl. It is made from a hard, light orange fabric, which is consistently fired. Both the inner and outer surfaces are coated with a hard and glossy orange/red slip which is abraded in places. A rim sherd of Roman South Midlands shell tempered ware, probably produced at Harrold, Bedfordshire, dating to the period c.AD 300-410. The sherd is sub-triangular in plan. The fabric is soft, and mid-brown in colour with areas of black. It has abundant, poorly sorted, angular crushed shell inclusions. Some of the breaks are worn, but others have a fresher appearance.
