A rim sherd of Roman White Ware mortarium (perhaps New Forest), dating to the period c.AD 260-370. The fabric is hard and sandy, cream in colour, with sparse red-brown inclusions. The breaks are worn. The sherd measures 30.13mm in length, 23.56mm in width, 16.86mm in thickness and weighs 9.72g. With thanks to Rachael Seager-Smith for help identifying this sherd.

A rim sherd of Roman South Midlands shell tempered ware, probably produced at Harrold, Bedfordshire, dating to the period c.AD 300-410. The sherd is sub-triangular in plan. The fabric is soft, and mid-brown in colour with areas of black. It has abundant, poorly sorted, angular crushed shell inclusions. Some of the breaks are worn, but others have a fresher appearance. The sherd is 41.66mm in length, 27.15mm in width, 6.35mm in thickness and weighs 8.38g. With thanks to Rachael Seager-Smith for help identifying this sherd.

A rim sherd of Roman Gaulish Samian Ware, dating to the period c.AD 40-200. The sherd from a Dragendorff no.33 cup. The fabric is hard, pink-orange in colour and consistently fired. Both the inner and outer surfaces are coated with a hard and glossy orange/red slip which is abraded in places. Most of the breaks are worn, with some that look fresher. Several production sites are represented including Southern Gaul (La Graufesenque) Central Gaul (Le Matres-de-Veyre and Lezoux).
