A lead pot mend. The object is in the form of a crude lead stud with a convex, wide haed in one side and a smaller, flatter disc on the other. Remains of the ceramic fabric are visible in the recess between the two ends, but it is not possible identify the pottery type or closely date it. Date: Medieval to Early Post Medieval - c. 1200 - 1600 The pot mend measures 34.69mm in length and is 14.75mm thick. It weighs 48.60 grams.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy pot leg from a cooking vessel. The leg is D-shaped in cross-section with a flat front and convex back and a central raised rib running down the front. It has an old irregular break at the upper end. The leg flares forwards at the base to create the plain D-shaped foot. . The surfaces are sooted from use in a hearth. The rim is thickened and almost D-shaped in cross section .The wall of the body is very thin and suggests a low dish shape. The object is pitted, with a blackened surface suggesting sooting. Length of rim: 32.53 mm. Thickness of rim: 2.93 mm. Wall: 1.48 mm. Height:13.53 mm. Weight: 5.661 grams.
