A cast copper-alloy rim fragment from a domestic cooking vessel from the Medieval to post-Medieval periods, circa 1200-1650 . The fragment is thin walled,with a simple outward angled rim. The breaks are worn and there is evidence of sooting to both surfaces. Height: 21.07 mm. Width: 20.21 mm. Thickness: 3.57 mm. Weight: 6.424 grams.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy domestic cooking vessel leg of medieval to post-Medieval date, circa 1250-1750. In section, the leg is roughly eliptical,with a prominent vertical ridge to the front. This is a centre section of the leg with old breaks to each end which are smoothed and have a green patina. Externally from the breaks there is a coating of soot which is a common feature with open fire cooking. Height of leg: 38.83 mm Thickness: 19.96 mm. Weight: 140 grams.

A fragment of a copper-alloy rim from a domestic cooking vessel of circa1250-1750.The rim is thickened, with the top angled outwards creating a sharp rim. The curvature of the section suggests the bowl had a diameter of approximately 200-220 mm. All the breaks are well worn.and both surfaces have evidence of sooting and a green patina. Width of rim: 44.86 mm. Thickness at rim: 5.17 mm. Height: 27.27 mm. Weight: 25 grams.

A cast copper-alloy vessel leg of medieval to post-Medieval date, circa 1250-1750. In plan, the leg is sub-rectangular, with a rounded lower edge and broken upper edge. The break is not recent. The leg is of D-shaped cross section, there is a transverse collar to the upper end, and a central faint vertical ridge running down the front, (possibly a mould line). The lower portion of a leg from a cast copper-alloy cooking vessel. The leg base is sub-triangular and the upper edge is sub-oval in cross section.The outer face of the leg has a prominent vertical ridge which is triangular in section and tapers towards the base. There is evidence of sooting. Due to its size,it is probably from a cauldron. These are problematic to date closely when found out of contex as they were used over a long time span; however, it almost certainly dates from the Late Medieval to post-Medieval periods. See WAW 12EF35 for a similar example.

An incomplete cast copper alloy pot leg from a cauldron, skillet or other cooking vessel. The leg is broadly D-shaped in section with convex front and flat back. It has an old irregular break at the lower end. The leg widens and spreads outwards at the base to create the foot which is mostly lost to breaks or wear. A Medieval to Post Medieval copper alloy vessel foot, probably dating to c. AD 1200-1700. The foot is sub-trapezoidal in cross section, with the front, broad, face cast into three parallel longitudinal ribs and a central longitudinal ridge on the reverse. The underside is slightly concave and shows signs of sooting. Dimensions: length 43.0mm; width 52.3mm; thickness 15.3mm; weight 106.23g This is an example of Butler, Green and Payne's type A, which they suggest was in use throughout the medieval period and into the 17th century.

A Post Medieval cast copper alloy pot foot with a small remnant of the pot attached, dating to c. AD 1500-1700. The foot is triangular in cross-section, tapering downwards.
