Fragment of rim from a copper alloy vessel. This is probably a rim from a cauldron or similar vessel. The rim is pointed with a bevelled interior face and flat exterior. The vessel wall is thinned from the rim. The interior surface appears smoothed whilst the exterior is rougher and covered in horzontal scratches. There are traces of sooting on the exterior. Fragment from a copper alloy vessel. This is a large vessel leg probably from a cauldron. The fragment consists of the foot and part of the leg, which is has an irregular break at the top. The leg is tri-lobate in section with a rounded, prominent ridge running up the centre of the front of the leg. The back of the leg is flat. The foot projects forwards from the leg and has a triangular profile. The base of the foot apears mis-cast and is slightly hollowed and rough.The surface of the leg is quite pitted and bumpy. A fragment of a copper alloy vessel of probable post-medieval date. It is difficult to be certain if this is a rim or a base fragment. It is possibly a piece of a base from a pedestal footed vessel. It has a curved outer edge with a groove and ridge around the circumference. The vessel is thinned considerably from the edge.

A fragment of cast copper alloy jug handle. A curvilinear/leaf-shaped lower terminal escutcheon with relief decoration of two human feet. There are traces of solder at the back where the escutcheon would have attached to the body of the jug and the surface is keyed by diagonal scoring to improve adherance. A leg from a cast copper alloy cooking vessel such as a cauldron or skillet, of medieval or post-medieval date. The leg measures 46.1mm by 22.1mm by 11.5mm and weighs 52g. The cross-section is D-shaped, with a flat undecorated back and a curving front. The D-shaped base is slightly rounded and at a near right-angle to the rest of the leg. From the base the leg narrows gradually but widens again briefly after about 20mm. Post Medieval cast copper alloy pot foot and part of the leg. The leg is D shaped in section with a flat back; it is broken off just above a transverse collar with an old break. The foot is also D shaped in section with five moulded 'toes' running down the front giving a scalloped lower edge and a flat back. The base of the foot is flat and would mean the leg sat at c.80 degrees to vertical. It is 39.5mm long, 22.4mm wide and 16.6mm thick; it weighs 41.74 grams. The lower portion of a leg from a cast copper-alloy cooking vessel. The leg base is sub-triangular and the upper edge is sub-oval in cross section.The outer face of the leg has a prominent vertical ridge which is triangular in section and tapers towards the base. There is evidence of sooting. Due to its size,it is probably from a cauldron. These are problematic to date closely when found out of contex as they were used over a long time span; however, it almost certainly dates from the Late Medieval to post-Medieval periods. See WAW 12EF35 for a similar example.

An incomplete copper-alloy vessel handle missing its terminal. The handle still retains its two fixing rivets, with an attached fragment of the copper-alloy vessel. File marks are evident and the casting is not symmetrical. The handle has a mottled olive green patina. Probably of post-Medieval date, but no parallel has been traced. Dimensions are: Vessel fragment behind rivets c.1mm, Length 132 mm, Width at attachment end 30.1 mm, Width at terminal end 13.1 mm, Thickness 7.1 mm, Weight 124grams.

A possible vessel foot. Cast copper alloy. The object has an oval cross section, is waisted and has a rounded bi-lobed terminal. In overall shape it is reminiscent of a bone from mammal phalanges (finger or toe bone). The surface of the other terminal is irregular and rough suggesting this was attached to another object, possibly as a foot for a vessel or other object.
