A fragment of a copper alloy Medieval to post Medieval vessel, dating to the period c.AD 1100-1700. The fragment comprises the foot, which is trapezoidal in cross section at the base. The cross section then narrows to become broadly lentoid when the foot extends upwards and narrows in width. A central longitudinal rib is present down the centre of the front.The upper terminal ends in a worn break. A green patina is on the surface, and sooting is present over much of the surface. A cast copper alloy object which is probably the terminal from the drop handle from a vessel of later medieval or early post-medieval date. The zoomorphic terminal measures 23.4mm by 17mm by 14.8mm and weighs 24.4g. Both ends are flat with a off-centre hole which is much narrower at the mouth end. The terminal appears to be moulded to resemble a dog, with diagonally orientated leaf-shaped ears, sunken eyes, slightly narrowed snout, upwards projecting nose and open mouth. The leg of a cast copper alloy cooking vessel, either a cauldron, a posnet or a skillet, of medieval or post medieval date. The leg measures 60.6mm by 35.8mm by 16.4mm and weighs 104g. It has a flat D-shaped cross-section with a flat front and trapezoidal facetted back. The front face has a central projecting vertical rib. The leg widens towards the flattish sub-pentagonal base. It would have been one of three on a complete vessel.

The cross-section is D-shaped, with a flat undecorated back and a curving front with five slight vertical ribs. The D-shaped base is rounded. From the base the leg starts to narrow but widens again after about 26mm. Just above this wider section the break has occurred. The leg would have been one of three on the complete vessel. Its dimensions and hoof-like form suggest that it came from a post-medieval skillet.

The cross-section is a long oval with slightly pointed ends. The back appears to have three slight facets (although one side is damaged) and the front appears to have a low and wide vertical rib in its centre. The break is concave. The leg would have been one of three on the complete vessel.

A cast copper alloy leg from a medieval or post-medieval metal cooking vessel, probably a post-medieval skillet judging by its dimensions and hoof-like form. The leg measures 53.11mm in length, 31.06mm in width and 18.10mm in thickness. It weighs 111.47g. The cross-section is D-shaped. From the base the leg narrows gradually to the point of the break, although in the centre of the surviving fragment the leg thickens briefly. There are also three slight vertical ridges which are equally spaced over the curving front. This leg would have been one of three on the complete vessel.

The foot is also D shaped in section with five moulded 'toes' running down the front giving a scalloped lower edge and a flat back. Fragment of a copper alloy item, probably part of the side of a large cast vessel. The fragment is irregular in shape with very worn breaks on all sides. One face has a raised ridge, a casting seam running down it, the ridge has been fettled. In profile the piece is slightly concave so the edges at each end of the casting seam curve upwards and the centre curves downwards. Cracking on the back suggests some of this is due to damage but the way the piece thickens slightly towards these edges suggests some might be original curvature. An incomplete copper-alloy zoomorphic spout of Medieval date, c. AD 1400 - 1500. The spout is from a copper alloy vessel, either a ewer or a laver. The spout is tubular with a zoomorphic head terminal in the form of a dogs head with gaping jaws that clasp a circular tube (7.3mm in diameter) that protrudes from its mouth by 3.19mm and is considerably worn by old breaks.
