A gold penannular ring. Small gold penannular ring with decorative banding in narrow stripes, which would originally have shown as bands of yellow and paler, silver rich gold. The silver rich bands are tarnished to a grey colour. The ring appears to be solid. It has a sub-circular cross section and the ends of the terminals are flat.It may be similar to WAW-F3AE27 which examination at the British Museum was shown to have complex three-tone striping. Such ornaments are dated to the Late Bronze Age. Date: Late Bronze Age - c. 1150 - 800 BC Dimensions: 15.69 mm x 14.96 mm x 5.36 mm

A gold penannular ring. A fairly plain example of mainly yellow gold but with three broad bands of paler, silver rich gold set around the inner edge. The ring appears to be solid with a circular cross section and flat ends to the terminals. Such ornaments are dated to the Late Bronze Age.
