A large copper alloy circular mount  dating to the later 14th to 15th century. The mount has a moulded, decorated front with a interlaced six pointed star (Seal of Solomon) filling most of the field. In the cell in the centre of the star is an enface lions head. The lion has rounded ears, moulded eyes, nose and muzzle, sticking out tongue and incised lines to the top, side and base indicating the mane. A complete Medieval copper alloy 'simple' bar mount, dating to c. AD 1250-1350. The find is rectangular in plan, and decorated on the surface with two parallel grooves to the long end, which have the reminas of a crimped design on the outer edges of the mount. The two rivets are still in situ and the shanks of the rivets, which are slightly angled towards each other,  can be seen on the reverse of the find. A medieval belt mount formed from a flat plate of roughly semi-circular shape. The outer frame of the mount is corrugated and a circular aperture has been cut into the centre. Medieval or post-medieval copper alloy lozenge shaped mount probably dating from the early 15th century to the 17th century. The surface is completely covered in a pattern of multiple pellets. The back is plain with the central integral spike being broken close to the plate. The piece has a shiny green patina. It measures 24.19mm in length, 14.93mm in width, 2.64mm in thickness and weighs 2.73g. A similar example in Read (2001:32) no. 253 has been dated to cAD1350-1400. However the form is also similar to mounts and studs with integral rivets dated to the 17th century.
