Silver cut farthing of a voided long cross penny of Henry III (1216-1272), Long cross coinage (1247-1272), Class III (1248-1250) from the position under the chin of the letters VS R from the legend hENRICVS REX and no hand or sceptre on the obverse; mint of London from the letters N LV on the reverse, which are part of the inscription ON LVND. This cut farthing was found in the same hole as a Scottish cut farthing of similar date recorded in CORN-6CD4C4.

Silver long cross penny of Edward I (1272-1307), Class 4a (1282-1283), London mint. The crown is trifoliate, which places it in Classes 1-9. The obverse inscription is +EDW R'ANGL'DNS hYB, which eliminates Class 1a-c, as the contracted form EDW R began with Class 1d. The face is wide with long hair and the drapery at the neck is composed of two shallow wedges. The ornaments between the fleurs are spearheads, and there is a short beaded line above the forehead below the band of the crown. Silver long cross penny of Edward III (1327-1377), Third 'Florin' coinage (1344-1351), initial mark cross pattee (1334-1351), Class 4(I) with reverse-barred 'N' on obverse and lombardic 'n' on reverse. The coin has been bent in two then straightened at some point (not by the finder) and there is a ragged perforation at the edge of the coin to the left of the bust. The bust wears a bifoliate crown with sharply pointed triangular jewels between the fleurs. London mint. Spink 1546.
