A worn and corroded iron horseshoe fragment consisting of the left branch, with three sub-square, punched nail holes. Two nails survive in situ; these appear to be spike nails ( also known as frost nails), which suggests a winter shoe. The heel is tapered, with no evidence of thickening or a calkin. The shoe is flat in section and is probably a draught shoe of the early post-Medieval period. A worn and corroded iron horseshoe fragment consisting of the left branch with three punched, square nail holes. One nail survives in situ and appears to be either a worn spike nail, or French nail. The heel is tapered and has a turned down calkin. Insection, the shoe is flat and is probably a saddle shoe of the dove type.Spiked nails are also called 'Frost nails,' so this may be a winter shoe.

The surviving nail is probably a fiddle-headed nail or round-headed nail.

A corroded and worn iron horseshoe fragment of a probable Anglo-Saxon date.The fragment consists only of the right branch with two oval, punched nail holes. The heel is narrow and thickened. Although corrosion has robbed the edges of the shoe, the wavy edge is still evident. A worn and corroded dove type iron horseshoe from the Medieval period.Both branches are equal in form and are thickened at the heel. The left branch has four rectangular nail holes; the right branch has three nail holes. The holes are tapered on both branches. The shoe is a little distorted, has a round frog and is of flat section. This is probably a saddle shoe. This shoe does not have the recesses for T-shaped nails, so it is probable that spiked ,square-headed or french nails may have been used. Also, this shoe is quite large and so may be a draught shoe. A corroded Medieval guildhall type horseshoe.The shoe has a arched frog and the branches are of unequal width. The right branch is wide and flat with a small calkin to the outer edge,it appears to have six rectangular nail holes with two T-shaped nails surviving. The left branch is narrow with a prominent wedge shaped calkin with three nail holes and one T-shaped nail surviving.
