An incomplete Roman copper alloy twisted cable bracelet, dating to c  AD 100- 320.  There are three sub oval twisted strands with early breaks at each end, the terminals thus missing. It has a dark green patina and is now folded more or less in two and twisted partly into a loop. Dimensions: 66.1mm in length (folded); thickness at the 'band' of three strands 5.5 x 3.1mm; 13.07g in weight cf Crummy (1983,: 38-9) no.1628

A probable Roman copper alloy bracelet fragment, probably dating to. c. AD 44-410. The fragment consists of a strip of copper alloy, curved in profile and decorated with three moulded, flanged, transverse collars, divided by narrow waists. There is a slight longitudinal ridge on the surviving section of the band below the moulded collars. The fragment weighs 1.7g and measures 23.18mm in length, 7.34mm in width, and measures between 1.5mm and 6.47mm in thickness.

It is a strip of metal, D shape in section, tapering towards both extant ends, 5.26mm in width in the centre, 3.65mm at one end and 3.22mm at the other. It is c 1.75mm thick. There is no decoration. It has a mottled green patina. Folded over, is 41.57mm in length and weighs 3.17g.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy bracelet or small armlet dating to the Roman period. It is 28.80mm in length, 6.25mm in width but tapering to 5.70mm. It is D shape in section and 3.16mm thick but 2.09mm at the narrower end which may be one side of a lap joint, broken apart at an early dates. The other end is more clearly a break. The surface of the bracelet is decorated with diagonal grooves. Crummy 1983 suggests that this grooving was probably meant to imitate in solid form the appearance of cable armlets (p41 ref fig44 no1693). The fragment has a pale green patina and weighs…
