An incomplete, lead alloy pilgrim's ampulla of Medieval date, about AD 1300 - 1530. The remaining portion consists of the lower half of the circular body, which has been cut or broken in half horizontally, perhaps to release the contents. The neck and suspension loops are missing. Both sides of the body carry decoration. One side is probably intended to represent a crown and consists of a small central element, flanked by two inward-facing crescents and two uprights which curve inwards at the top, above a pair of upwards curving ridges and an area of cross-hatching. An cunofficial cast lead-alloy weight of probable medieval to post-Medieval date. The object is circular in plan and is plano convex. On the domed top of the weight there are four punched sub-circular indentations which are roughly in line and may have been significant to the owner. The underside is roughly finished with indentations and a possible mark. The object has a dull grey patina. It has a diameter of 46.02 mm, is 17.29 mm thick and weighs 212 grams.
