A complete Post Medieval copper-alloy anthropomorphic knife terminal. A knife stop or end-cap from a scale-tang knife. The figurative three dimensional end-cap is an anthropomorphic head on an oval cross-section plinth. The head is wearing a large pointed hood, suggestive of a cowl or hooded cloak worn by monks.  The long, thin face with pointed chin is looking up at an angle of approximately 45 degrees and has crudely engraved facial features. An incomplete lead cloth seal. A two part seal with decoration on both discs. On one face is a central cross or privy mark flanked by possible letters and some symbols; a six pointed star on the bottom right. On the other face are further indistinct markings in a pellet border. Date: Post Medieval - c. 1500 - 1650 Dimensions: 18.15 mm x 2.61 mm Weight: 4.22 g This is similar to a number of items in Egan, G 1994 Lead Cloth Seals and Related Items in the British Museum, e.g. No. 208 (ibid p. 90 & p. 181 fig 30) which is dated to the 16th to early 17th centuries

An incomplete post-medieval (1550-1650) copper alloy buckle plate, consisting of the upper decorated half only. Originally the plate would have consisted of one copper-alloy sheet, cut and folded transversely at the centre. This example is broken in half at the point where it would have folded around the buckle frame leaving two undecorated tabs extending from the decorated plate (for a complete example see WMID-389B1E). A post medieval copper alloy trade token farthing issued by William Miinck at Blandford in Dorset, Williamson Dorset 18, dating to AD 1654. Ref.: Williamson (1967, 172). This is the original variety of token for William Minck, the subsequent issue reading WILLIAM MINCK IN around W.M. on the obverse and IN BLANDFORD around W.M. 1657. William Minck was Bailiff of the Borough of Blandford in 1657. There is also a record of him marrying Elizabeth Bull of Bridport on 20th July 1654. A complete cast copper alloy domed bridle boss of Post-Medieval date (AD 1600 - 1700). It is an openwork domed multifoil type as classified by Maslin (2020). It has an ornate dome decorated with six spiralling arms and a small rounded knop at the centre. The rim has 16 lobes decorated with hearts and trefoils.
