An incomplete Late Iron Age to Early Roman copper alloy hinged strip bow brooch dating to the period c. AD 25- 70. It is missing its axis bar and pin, and parts of its wings and the end of its bow. The head of the brooch curls backwards to create a cylinder, and the rectangular plate formed contains a slot cut into the metal. This would have held the hinged pin but is now missing, as is the axis bar. The bow has a rectangular cross section, and is an incomplete elongated triangle that would have tapered to a blunted foot. A fragment of copper alloy bow brooch. The bow only remains. There is a remnant of folded tabs to house the missing pin mechanism at the top and the bow tapers to the lower break. An Iron Age copper alloy mount, possibly from a tankard with zoomorphic decoration dating to 100 BC to 80 AD. The mount is a probably cast sheet of copper alloy, semi circular in plan and curved in cross section such that the two corners of the semi-circular are further back than the centre. An incomplete copper alloy strip brooch of DURO Type 1b (Mackreth 2011, no. 6736, Plate 99) dating to 45--120 AD. The wings, bow, foot and catchplate remain. The wings are folded tabs that would have wrapped around the axis bar. There are traces of iron corrosion on the remnants of the wings, probably from the missing axis bar. An incomplete copper alloy probable tankard handle. A section of the shaft of the handle and one flanged attachment remain. The low-D-sectioned shaft is broken at one end across a wide, bilobed section decorated with a pair of two concentric reserves of metal with recess outside and between, separated by a transverse ridge.
