A fragment of copper alloy bow brooch, possibly part of a T-shaped type. All that remains is a short section of bow, broken at either end. One end is V-shaped in cross section, the other is D-shaped. There is an expanded, triangular knop in the middle which has a recess for enamel (also triangular). There is an incised line frame around the empty recess. A complete cast copper alloy 'La Tene I' style brooch dating to the early Iron Age, c. 400 - 200 BC.  One coil and the shaft of the pin are missing. The bow and pin are made in one piece. An incomplete copper alloy bow brooch. A late la Tène type. At the head is an integral four coiled spring with an external chord running underneath it. The spring is filled with iron corrosion product, probably from an iron axis bar. The pin is missing. The bow is a simple extension of the wire of the spring being not much thicker at the head and having an oval cross section. The bow tapers to a sharp, finely pointed foot. A small copper alloy mount. A possible end-cap for a knife or a decorative stud. The mount is a pointed oval in outline, flat at the base and deeply convex on the top. An incomplete copper alloy La Tene III Nauheim derivative brooch. The pin and part of the coiled spring mechanism are missing. A one-piece brooch which consists of a circular cross sectioned wire forming a spring of whic two coils remain. The inner left coil extends into into a sub-rectangular cross sectioned curved bow which tapers to a thin, pointed foot and flat catchplate behind. There is no decoration visible on the bow. Reference: ABC 2205 Date: Late Iron Age Diameter: 11.45 mm Weight: 1.06 g Die axis: 6 Although the coin is rather light for a gold quarter stater, the weights of the BM coin ranging from 1.33 to 1.53g. It is closer to the weights for silver pieces which range from 0.76 to 1.46g. However, the colour of the coin does appear to be pale gold.

Iron Age copper alloy decorative terminal, probably of 1st century BC to 1st century AD date The cast terminal is of near-circular, globular form and is incomplete, missing the integral shaft (with a surviving length of 16.4mm and a weight of 24.7g). At the apex is a circular recessed cell (3.6mm diameter and 1.2mm deep), which retains remnants of red enamel of red ‘sealing-wax’ type.
