Description: An incomplete silver finger ring. The bezel and shoulders only remain. The bezel is oval with a raised flat-fronted circular projection which and is decorated with a moulded cross pattée. At the centre of the cross and on each arm is an annulet. The shoulders are tapered and decorated with stamped rings around the edge of the bezel and a raised chevron with rounded ends on each (the rounded ends are decorated with a small circular recess on each). A gilded copper alloy pyramidal mount with probable niello inlay. A hollow pryamidal mount with an attachment bar across the base. The sides retain traces of gilding. At the apex is a sub-circular piece of niello inlay. The bar has a sub-square cross section. No decoration is visible on the exterior. The interior is partially obscured by concreted soil. A copper alloy strap end with a zoomorphic terminal. A rectangular strap end. The attachment end flares into a flattened split plate with broken rivet holes at each corner. A cast copper alloy stirrup strap mount. Williams Class A, Type 6. A triangular plate with a large animal head terminal at the extended apex with small ears, prominent brow and squared snout. There is a break at the top where there was originally a pierced loop for attachment. Flanking the plate along the sides is a pair of devolved sinuous beasts with crested heads forming the bottom corners and bifurcated tails at the top. An incomplete copper alloy saucer brooch of late 5th- or early 6th-century date. It is circular and 25.9mm in diameter, small for a saucer brooch; it also has unusual Style I decoration. The brooch has a raised outer rim with a deep V-shaped groove immediately inside it and a V-shaped ridge immediately inside that. Within this border is a chip-carved design well executed in Salin's Style I. A complete but broken copper alloy key, broken in two. The key has a long drop-shaped bow with openwork, foliate decoration. The stem is oval in cross section and tapers to a pointed projecting tip. An incomplete silver hooked tag. A broken, narrow triangular tag with zoomorphic and plant decoration.
