A copper-alloy bar mount (strap-fitting) of medieval date (c. 14th century). The mount has three consecutive lobes with the two copper-alloy attachment rivets to the terminal lobes still in place, though bent. The lobes are convex to the front and have a concaved reverse. The central lobe has been decorated with diagonal cross-hatching while the lobes either side are plain. The object has a olive green patina with some soil impaction to the reverse.
Dimensions are; Length 16 mm. Width 8 mm. Thickness 2.5 mm. Weight 1.225g

A copper-alloy bar mount (strap-fitting) from the medieval period (c. 14th century). The mount comprises of three in-line lobes with the two external lobes used as the attachment via a single copper-alloy rivet. The central lobe is the largest with a convex front and concaved reverse. The front has a band of cross hatching as a decorative feature, formed of four transverse grooves overlain by neat longitudinal incisions. A cast copper-alloy bar mount (strap-fitting) of medieval date, c. 14th century. The mount has three consecutive lobes with the copper-alloy rivets still attached to the outer lobes. The lobes are convex on the front with only the larger central lobe concave on its reverse.The two smaller lobes appear countersunk to accept the rivet . Decoration is restricted to the central lobe and consists of three raised linear bands created by four transverse grooves; they are centrally placed. An incomplete post-medieval copper-alloy Nuremberg jetton of Hans Krauwinckel II (fl. 1586-1635) dating 1586-1635. Mercury bust type inscribed GOTT ALLEN DIE EERE SEI. Minted at Nuremberg. See Mitchiner (1988, 447; no. 1591).
This jetton has a diameter of 19mm, a thickness of 0.5mm and a weight of 0.439g. It has suffered considerable losses at its circumference outside the inner circle.

The mount has three consecutive lobes with the central one being the largest, which is convex at the front and concave on the reverse. The front of the central lobe is decorated with three transverse grooved lines; the smaller terminals are undecorated. One copper alloy attachment rivet survives in one of the terminals.

An incomplete copper-alloy strip with five in-line ring-and-dot motifs from a post-medieval wick trimmer. The broadly rectangular strip has broken at two points, each of which appear to be rivet holes; the short edges are both slightly angled at these points. The front, in addition to the ring-and-dot decoration, is bevelled along one of its long edges. A damaged and broken copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame of post-medieval date. It has broken into two unequal parts, with one of the outer edges broken off just beyond the pin bar. The frame has a moulded rosette at the centre of each outer edge. It is D-shaped in cross-section with a flat reverse. The pin bar is narrowed with rounded knops at either end. The pin is missing. There is a crack in the frame below the rosette on the larger surviving part.

A copper-alloy double-looped buckle of post-medieval date. The frame is formed of two conjoined D-shaped loops with angled outer edges; the pin is missing. The buckle is bevelled both internally and externally on the front; more steeply internally.

A medieval cast copper-alloy buckle frame. The frame is oval, with an offset bar. There is a grooved pin rest in the centre of the pointed outside edge, flanked by a double moulding parallel to the groove; the mouldings project slightly beyond the outside edge, to the front of the buckle. It is bevelled more steeply externally than internally on the front; it is shallowly bevelled internally on the reverse. The frame is slightly worn and the pin is missing.

A single-looped copper-alloy buckle frame of medieval date.
The frame is sub-oval, having outward-bowing sides and a straight, thickened outer edge comprised of a D-sectioned bar with central transverse pin groove. At the opposite end, the bar is offset and of circular cross section, with no trace of the pin remaining other than small patches of iron corrosion product hinting at its composition. The buckle has a green/brown patina with areas of impacted soil, or possible remnants of gilding.
