Copper alloy shield shaped harness pendant with a broken suspension loop. The front of the shield is decorated with three lions passant guardant (probably the arms of England before 1340) with a recessed field around for enamel. No enamel survives. The lions are arranged one above the other down the length of the shield and consequently become progressively smaller as the shield narrows. The back is undecorated. Medieval. 14th century. Part of a leg from a cast copper alloy tripod cooking vessel of medieval or post-medieval date. The leg would be from a cauldron or similar vessel. The upper part has a D-shaped cross-section. The back is flat and undecorated. The foot projects forwards and widens out from the upper part. It is damaged at one corner but is broadly paw-shaped having a central rib and and a rounded corner. Copper alloy buckle frame and pin. A single looped, D-shaped buckle. The outer edge of the frame is thick and crudely cast with a rounded rectangular cross section. The bar is slightly recessed from the frame and has a more circular cross section. The frame has numerous file marks over most of the surface. French jetton of Tournai. Tower shield of Tournai on the obverse. Fictitious legends on both sides.Dating between 1497 and 1547. This jetton is similar to several published examples but identical to none. In Barnard, The Casting-Counter and the Casting-Board see p.120, no. 64 for obverse design and p.121, no. 65 for the reverse but not the legends. In Mitchiner, Jetons, Medalets & Tokens, the Medieval Period & Nuremberg see p. 238, no. 725 which is the same except that it lacks the towers in the angles of the reverse cross.

Copper alloy jetton. A French jetton, probably of the Tournai mint. The obverse shows the "Chatel Tournois" (the Castle of Tours)design of the town of Tours. No direct parallel found in the references, but similar to Barnard No 28. Barnard explains that the design of the Chatel Tournois varies so that the object on the top of the tower can be a cross, a lis or a crown. Dating from circa 1415 to 1497.

A sheet copper alloy spirally rolled rivet. The rivet is made from a lozenge-shaped piece of copper alloy sheet rolled to form a cone. The remaining point is folded into the wide end and the head formed by a slight splaying at this end. Such rivets were used to repair copper alloy vessels. This example is similar to a number found in London and dated to the late 15th to late (or mid?) 16th centuries (Egan 2005: 101, although such rivets are observed to have continued in use into the 18th century (ibid). An incomplete copper alloy lozenge shaped annular brooch with broken pin of Medieval date. The frame is rectangular in section and has eight tubular collets (arranged slightly irregularly so that two sides have two each, one side has three, one at the corner, and the last has one). Six of the collets contain degraded glass in the form of a white paste. The collets are set through the frame so that the bases are visible at the back of the brooch. There is a constriction at the corner for the now broken pin. The pin is fine, D-sectioned and looped over the narrow bar.

A cast copper alloy buckle of late medieval date. The incomplete oval double frame buckle measures 15.7mm by 20.7mm by 4.2mm and weighs 3.6g. The majority of one loop is missing. The outside edge is decorated with a panel of incised transverse parallel lines. At each end of the narrowed strap bar there is an external knop, both of which are also decorated with incised parallel lines. The pin has been wrapped around the strap bar and tapers to a pin. It has a moulded transverse line on the external face, adjacent to the loop.

A probable gilded cast copper alloy horse harness pendant of medieval date. The curvilinear pendant measures 25.6mm by 8.9mm by 2.5mm and weighs 3.6g. At the apex is a loop which has been turned through ninety degrees. The pendant has a convex front and a concave back. On the front there are traces of gilding. A pendant with a broadly similar form from Norton Bavant, Wiltshire, has been recorded on the Portable Antiquities Scheme database (WILT-674E02).

A copper alloy disc with relief heraldic decoration comprising a raised shield with three lions passant guardant on a field of red enamel, the arms of England. Around the shield the surface of the mount is stippled and gilded. Around the raised shield are moulded decorations comprising a fleur de lys above the shield and curving foliate lines at the sides. The back is flat and undecorated. There is no visible means of attachment for this mount, so its function remans unclear. A leg from a cast copper alloy cooking vessel such as a cauldron or skillet, of medieval or post-medieval date. The leg measures 46.1mm by 22.1mm by 11.5mm and weighs 52g. The cross-section is D-shaped, with a flat undecorated back and a curving front. The D-shaped base is slightly rounded and at a near right-angle to the rest of the leg. From the base the leg narrows gradually but widens again briefly after about 20mm.
